Curtains!

BEFORE...

THE TOOLS
What? No sewing machine?
The daughter broke my sewing machine a couple of months ago...I sew a pillowcase or blanket once in a while but not often enough to buy a new machine when I can just use my mother's.

Rather than measuring and marking, I improvised.
I didn't feel like leaving the house to go sew at my mom's so I improvised some more with the glue gun.

I figured if it didn't work, I'd only be out...

THE PROCEDURE

I measured, I cut, I ironed, I glued, and I glued...

and WALAH!
AFTER...
Aren't they so cute!
And surprisingly they don't looked rigged!
D will tell you
"Good taste has no price tag."
Gaily colored curtains, made from inexpensive fabrics or remnant items, add just the right touch.
Thank you Cheri for the glue gun you gave me as a wedding gift 17 years ago...couldn't have done this project without it!

  1. I can't believe you remember I gave that to you--I didn't remember--I mean, I thought about what to give you for months and months. I am glad you have enjoyed it all this time!
