The Final Filing Drawer

BEFORE...

THE TOOLS

THE PROCEDURE
It took no time at all to clear the drawer...

The main items in this drawer were...

and a bin full of these...

So I organized them.
It's what I do.

AFTER...

For now, this drawer holds the stamp bin...
not much of a finale. Sorry to disappoint.
D says I have a file for clippings, articles, poems, thoughts, appropriate jokes, stories, and visual materials. This material--all arranged so I can find anything in a minute or so--is highly valuable in preparing talks.

I chucked all my clippings, articles, and stories--with the Internet it's just easier for me to look things up online.
I do however have one poem filed in my brain.
My dad taught it to me when I was little and I've never forgotten it!
And I'd like to share it with you now...
2 frogs fell into a deep bowl
One was an optimistic soul
The other took the gloomy view
"We shall drown he cried!"
And without more adieu, took one last despairing cry
Flung up his legs and said, "Goo, Goodbye"
Said the other frog with a bit of a grin,
"If I can't get out I won't give in...
I'll just swim around til my strength is spent,
And then will I die, the more content"
So he swam around 'til it would seem
His struggles began to churn the cream
On top of the butter at last he stopped
And out of the bowl he gaily hopped
What of the moral tis easily found
If you can't hop out, KEEP SWIMMIN' AROUND!
