An Attempt to Start the Wedding Scrapbook

Years ago I put our engagement/wedding pictures and scrapbook into this box.
I thought it held only those pictures.
I forgot I had put 3 years worth of family pictures in there as well.
BEFORE...

No TOOLS today
but I do use this tool sometimes to keep the baby busy while I'm blogging.

THE PROCEDURE
I separated the wedding from the family photos.
Then sorted all of the family pictures between 5 kids (the years were 03-05) and a pile for the family scrapbook.

I sorted all of the kids pictures into the proper years.
Took forever.

Then I sorted the wedding pictures...dividing the bridal, engagement, showers etc.

AFTER...

Now I'm ready to get this baby scrapbooked.
D says Along with the baby books and albums, we show them our wedding book containing between it's white covers the newspaper announcements of our engagement and marriage, the names of guests who attended our wedding ceremony, pictures taken at our reception...We feel that through the pages of that book we can help prepare our children for the greatest step of their lives, that of marrying the right person, at the right time, in the right place.
I really need to get a handle on this scrapbooking.
Good thing I still have 6 months to do it.

  1. Love your blog. Have to tell you that my friend and I started out the new year challenging each other and ourselves to the goal of going through a box or drawer or shelf, cupboard a day to dejunk the house. I am immersed in the photo/scrapbook drama as well right now. When I think I'm accomplishing something, someone finds another big box of photos. Anyway, I don't always get my box a day done but I am more focused at dejunking and removing clutter from my life. Read about it and other trivia at http://budgetmenu.blogspot.com
