"Finishing" the Former Hole in the Wall...

Today's BEFORE picture is last Wednesday's AFTER picture...

THE TOOLS
We have lots today!

I'm just going to be straight with you.
Today I am an "Almoster" on so many levels.
It's just the way it has to be.

THE PROCEDURE
I cleaned the inside of the window.
Check out the hot husband cleaning the outside.
Love him with the beard.
I dusted cobwebs.
Painted moulding.
The husband hung a curtain rod for me.
I ironed the fabric and hung the curtains.
(No sewing, but I did use a few safety pins.)

AFTER...

If the curtains look not quite right it's because they are
ALMOST
finished.
I wasn't able to find the trim I wanted for the bottom so I will keep searching.
If you're wondering why the curtain is hanging over a "faux" window
(or unfinished wall if I'm being honest) I have a good reason.
Mudding and sanding that wall would create dust.
That dust would settle over the entire entry, dining, living and kitchen areas because they are all connected.
That would require a considerable amount of wall washing.
Then I would have to paint the entire wall.
I'm not ready to wash or paint walls so this little patched area will remain
ALMOST
finished until I decide otherwise.

D says No one wants to be an "Almoster".
(Except for me, sometimes)
Let your thoughts soar and see yourself as a very efficient type of person who gets the job done. Imagine everything you would do or say.

I should really try that.
